    Description

1865-67? Rogers (Anchor) Silverplate AA Fork  6" Floral Engraved BENT
    About 6 inches long.
Pattern seems to have flowers, leaves and maybe a basket in it.
From a woman 80+ years of age.
Marked "-Rogers+ AA", the "-" and "+" presumed to have been anchors poorly stamped and/or worn, which may denote manufacture by the William Rogers Manufacturing Co. which is said to have operated only from 1865-67, however the "(anchor) Rogers (anchor)" apparently was used again later in about 1920. The AA signifies a heavier layer of silver plate. This based on cursory
    Internet
    research.
Two outer tines bent. Seems worn into base metal on handle contact area, apparent corrosion on engraving. Photos show item much darker that it really is. Widespread surface wear as expected.
