    Description

1950's painted cloth all-American doll dressed ina blue cotton dress with white apron and multi-colored straw hat and white bloomers.  She measures 12" tall, and her face is delicately painted onto the cloth that she is made of. The doll is filled with something firmer than polyfill, and lives in her original, unmarked cardboard box, which has her owner's name-Barbara Perleth, writen in pen on it.  Her "shoes" are sewn into the body form in black fabric, her blue dress gathers at her elbows, and is the sleeves are trimmed in blue rick-rack, as are her bloomers.  Her pinafore apron is white with ruffled jabot with picot lace edging that ties in the back. her clothes are safety pinned to her.  She has blonde hair with a navy ribbon in it. Her multi-colored straw hat has been sewn into a spiral and is dyed a faded teal, pink, purple and is held onto her head with a very streched out length of elastic string which can easily be replaced, but has not yet been replaced.  She is a very lovely doll, and she craves adoration.  She is in excellent used condition.  She was clearly appreciated, but not played with very much.
