    Description

Antique 1930"s 5 Piece Dollhouse Painted Wooden Dining Set Strombecker-Type. This unmarked set includes a table and two chairs, a hutch and a stool. I am not sure of the scale. The hutch measures 6" tall, 5" wide and 2 1/2" deep. it has an open shelf, two cabinet doors that open, a working space countertop and a long drawer that opens. One cabinet door is missing its knob and appears split, but intact. The drawer knob looks to have been replaced with a bead. There is a crack in one cabinet door, but it is still intact. The table and chairs have some sweet flower decals. I'm not sure if these were on the pieces originally, but they are adorable. The table measures 2 1/2" tall, 3 1/2" wide and 1" deep. The chairs measure 3 1/2" tall, 1 5/8" wide and 1 1/2" deep. The four legged stool measures 2" tall and 1 1/8" round. One leg has been replaced. I have not tried to clean these pieces. They are painted the original creamy white color and are from a smoke free home. While these pieces are not branded, I've found very similar pieces online which are Strombecker, and know they are the same era. I strive to be completely honest in the details of my descriptions. Please view the photos for condition and feel free to message me with any concerns or questions.I am currently downsizing my collections in my retirement years as a promise to my family. I will be listing various antique, vintage and artist made dollhouse pieces or lots of dollhouse things in the coming weeks or months. Most of this antique dollhouse furniture belonged to my mother, who was born in 1922. It has since been passed down through three generations or more... thus "well loved and played with" for almost 100 years. My mother was also a collector of "All Things Dolls and Dollhouses" and I grew up sharing and loving our dollhouse/doll times together. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
