Homai Calrose Medium Grain (Sushi) Rice - Kosher, Non GMO & Gluten Free | 50 lbsSOY GINGER GLAZED SALMON
1 CUP SOY SAUCE
3/4 CUP BROWN SUGAR
2 teaspoons fresh chopped ginger or 1 teaspoon dried
2 tablespoons Mirin wine or sherry
Preheat oven to 350F.
To make the soy-ginger glaze, bring all ingredients, except the salmon, to a boil in a saucepan. Stir just until sugar has dissolved, then reserve to cool.
Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Drizzle generously with the soy-ginger glaze 15 minutes before baking.
Bake the salmon for 15 to 20 minutes.
Serve over Homai Medium Grain Rice.
COOKING DIRECTIONS
Combine 1 cup Homai Calrose Rice and 1 1/4 cup water in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low and simmer covered 25 minutes or until moisture is absorbed. Remove from heat; let stand covered 10 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve. Makes about 4 cups cooked rice or 6 (2/3 cup) servings.
Note: If using an electric rice cooker, combine 1 1/2 cups rice and 2 cups water in an electric rice cooker pot. Continue as directed by the rice cooker manufacturer.
