The Milwaukee M18 FUEL 1/2 in. Compact Impact Wrench with Pin Detent is the most compact in its class, delivering users more power, the most access in tight spaces at only 4.9 in. L, and maximum workspace visibility. This cordless impact wrench features a POWERSTATE Brushless motor that generates up to 250 ft./lbs. of fastening and nut-busting torque, providing users with the power required for installation and removal, even in confined spaces. The Milwaukee 1/2 in. impact wrench has tri-LEDs that surround the anvil to deliver brighter light with fewer shadows.
4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL offers greater precision with a range of pre-set RPM and IPM levels, selectable from a single button on the tool. By selecting Mode 4, AUTO SHUT-OFF control applies no more than 20 ft./lbs. of torque for hand-tight fastening applications to prevent overtightening. Mode 4 also features Bolt Removal Control delivers full torque output, then decreases RPMs once the bolt is loosened to prevent fastener drops. REDLINK PLUS Intelligence electronics make these controls possible while ensuring maximum performance, protecting the tool against overloads, over-heating, and over-discharge. The M18 REDLITHIUM battery pack (not included) fits M18 tools, delivering more work per charge and more work over the life of the pack.

The MILWAUKEE M18 FUEL 1/2 in. Compact Impact Wrench w/ Pin Detent Kit is the perfect Home and Professional impact wrench. It is only 4.9 inches in length with a Brushless Motor. It can deliver 250 ft./lbs. of torque which is 2 ½ times the torque required by my truck wheels (97 ft./lbs. torque). The impact wrench has 3 LED lights for enhanced visibility when working under a vehicle or deep into the engine compartment. The Pin Detent does a good job holding your sockets on the tool. I had to use a small punch to push down the Pin Detent to remove the ¾ inch socket.The impact wrench has 4 modes of operation. I took a picture and included it in the images detailing the different mode of operation values. Mode 4 is pretty cool and shuts of at 20 ft./lbs. of torque, so you don?t over torque the fastener. For fastener removal, Mode 4 runs at full IPM (impacts per min.) and torque until the fastener is loose and then slows the rpm down to keep from losing the bolt or nut.The kit includes 2, 5Ah batteries and a charger. These items and the wrench fit nicely into a plastic case. The case measures, ~14 ¾ inches wide, ~12 ¾ inch deep and ~5 ¼ inch thick.If you are wanting the freedom of a battery powered impact wrench (no air hose) this kit is as good as you can get. I would recommend it to anyone requiring an impact wrench, amateur or professional.

The Milwaukee ½ compact impact wrench is a very good tool when a compact wrench is needed. about an inch shorter than others. Its comfortable to hold upright or upside down. The sockets stay on with the indent pin upgrade.
